Do not pay based on one record or portal result. Use exact property identifiers and compare the documents, physical site and approvals together.

What the portal can establish

The official service can show the government or private classification returned for the selected district, taluk, village, survey and subdivision.

What it cannot establish

A portal result alone does not prove saleable title, exact occupation, boundary, lawful conversion, absence of waterbody restrictions or freedom from proceedings.

Checks to combine

Compare A-Register, Patta or TSLR, FMB, deed schedule, village map context and physical survey. Check changes in old and new survey numbers.

Warning signs

Stop if a seller asks you to ignore poramboke, watercourse, road, pathway, burial-ground or other public-purpose classification, or promises later regularisation without a valid order.

Escalation

Ask the Tahsildar or Revenue Department for the applicable record and obtain independent legal and licensed-surveyor review before paying.

Important limitation

This guide is general information. A specific property still requires independent review by a property advocate, licensed surveyor and the competent government authority.
